From November 17th to 18th, 2018, the National Diamond Hotel Evaluation Team, headed by Jin Xiaomei, an expert from the food safety expert group of the State Food and Drug Administration and Qingdao’s chief food hygiene expert, conducted an inspection of Jinsheng Hotel in Junan County, a subsidiary of Jinsheng Group Catering Services Co., Ltd. (Jinsheng Hotel) conducted a two-day on-site review of four-diamond hotels.
The "Diamond" hotel rating is for the catering industry, while the "Star" hotel rating is for the accommodation industry. The review of national diamond-level hotels is led by the Ministry of Commerce and organized and implemented in accordance with the national standard "Classification and Assessment of Catering Enterprises". It evaluates qualified hotels from aspects such as equipment and facilities, service quality, dish quality, management level, maintenance, and cleanliness. Catering enterprises are evaluated comprehensively and graded. National-level restaurants are marked with "diamonds" and are divided into five levels, among which: "five-diamond" is a national special-level restaurant; "four-diamond" is a national first-level restaurant; "three-diamond" is a national second-level restaurant; "two-diamond" is a national second-level restaurant; "is a national third-level restaurant; "One Diamond" is a national fourth-level restaurant.
The review team strictly followed the "Detailed Rules for Rating and Scoring of Catering Enterprises", reviewed various basic materials, inspected the hotel's software and hardware facilities on-site, and reviewed the appearance layout, kitchen areas, banquet halls, fast food restaurants, staple food processing workshops, and central kitchens. On-site inspections and acceptances were conducted in the food sorting room, laboratory, goods procurement and acceptance, certificate and invoice request, food storage and processing samples, and supplier-related certificates. After two days of rigorous review, Jinsheng Hotel finally passed the review and acceptance of the National Four-Diamond Restaurant with a total score of 1,788 points, exceeding Four Diamond Level of 98 points. At the evaluation summary meeting, the evaluation team fully affirmed Jinsheng's corporate culture and highly appreciated the hotel team's spirit of unity, advancement and hard work.
This year, a total of 13 hotels in Linyi City applied for four-diamond review, and only 3 passed. Jinsheng Hotel is currently the first hotel in Linyi City and County to pass the four-diamond review. We will use this evaluation as a new starting point and new motivation to continue our efforts to provide customers with more delicious dishes, better services, and a more secure experience! We will make unremitting efforts to build the Jinsheng catering brand and improve the standardization of the catering industry!
